Hello! My name is KyuRee ('Q-ree'), and I am a Ph.D. candidate in Marketing at Indiana University, Kelley School of Business.

My expected graduation is May 2024.  I will be on the job market in the summer of 2023.

My research focuses on the tension that arises when companies provide decision-making support to customers. I am particularly interested in understanding the circumstances under which consumers perceive this support as being motivated by a genuine desire to help them rather than to increase the company's profits. Relatedly, I study the cues that consumers use to make such inferences and how these inferences influence their choice.

I am currently working on several projects that investigate these questions in the context of recommendations, reviews, and online data privacy.
